Product Description

Tekadur and Tekuarz ranges are made of a chemical compound called composite.

Composite is a thermostatic material, with the addition of minerals, thermoplastic additives, catalysts and pigments, and it is reinforced with chopped fibreglass.

Its transformation is made in a warm mould (130-160 ºC) under high pressure (120 BAR). This process is not reversible. After the material has been polymerised, it can not be melted down by high temperatures.

- Chemical agents resistant (sodium chloride, ethanol, etc)

- Scratch resistant

- Impact resistant ( fall of 500 grammes from 1,40 metres)

- Thermal shock resistant( 1000 cycles 15º C-95º C: cold water and hot water)

- Heat resistant ( up to 400º C)

- Erosion, hardness and scratch: fulfilling the European Norm EN 13310.
